What makes Heart Transformation
effective?
- Overwhelming evidence of scripture
- Fosters response to scripture from
our heart
- Shepherding with the expectation of
change / accountability
- The heart is revealed on a personal
basis: desires, beliefs, fears
- Encouraged to listen to God, hear
Him, obey and call out
- Assumes sin is there and expects it
be dealt with
- High expectation to live the
"abundant life"
- Intentional not random
- Demands going past knowledge to full
engagement, therefore faith is put into action
- Set free to be all that God created
you to be - believing to the point of action
- Expects each participant to
share/teach it
- Assumes there is no real change
unless the heart is transformed by the Spirit of God
- Expects total healing and total
freedom
- Expects one to be a disciple and
Kingdom Builder
- Teaches that apart from God, we can
do nothing
- Individuals experience the
frustration of trying to foster change without the Lord
- It is a process (not a study) to
experience loving Him with "all", therefore His power is present in
us; we then teach others
- Teaches true repentance, not just
apologizing
- Reveals counterfeit living by the
law vs. by the Spirit
- Preparation and commitment is
required
- We learn to invite God into every
situation - practicing His presence
